I have this Aquatech 30-60 without bifiber but I do have bio balls what if I was to put the bioballs behind the filter media and use it that way so I have my filtration will be mechanical and biological?

You could definitely try. However, from my experience with aquatech filters, there isn't too much room for extra media than the filter cartridge and bio fibers.

Well I was going to put them behind the blue filter pad so it will fit
