Just got a free tank!

A friend of mine from work just brought over a FREE 27 gallon hex tank!!! I'm pretty excited about it. The only strings attached were the three black mollies (which I gave him 6 months ago) and 7 black skirt tetras. Oh, and 5 million little snails. I hope they all survive the move (well, not the snails). He gave me some of his plastic plants and tank water, so maybe it won't be too hard on them.

Anyway, I just had to post because I'm so excited!!! I've never had a hex tank, I know there are some issues with them being a little tall.

I'm thinking 6 months down the road I might put all 9 of my black mollies, and two guppies, and convert it to brackish. I've never had a brackish tank. I would put the tetras in one of my freshwater tanks.

Any advice and ideas would be appreciated.

dang that many mollies would have to produce a crazy number of babies!

That's for sure! They all came from my oldest one. I thought all nine were females, but one is looking more like a boy. I'm going to get it out of there real quick!!
