Koi help!

Can koi rip other kois fins? Mine has her dorsal fin ripped all the way down to the base but it's like perfect? Like someone cut it? I don't know if The other koi did something cause if it did it would have to go btw the the koi that has the ripped fun is about 5-6 inches

Yes, they are capable of doing it, but if you didn't see him do it or haven't noticed them fighting I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.

Ok cause the wierd thing was it was like a perfect cut down th middel of it

It'll probably heal itself. When my angelfish were growing fast their fins would sometimes split and heal themselves within a day. I don't know if that's what happened to your koi though.

Alright I hope so I just don't want to get rid of the large koi (first fish and all) but he's already killed like 3 others from fin nipping
