Hi Everyone,

I have a new pair of Kribs and this is their first spawn in my community tank in a cave.

After the wiggler stage, I expected to see them prancing the fry around the tank like they usually do about this time. Nope, not this time. Mama has them tucked away in the back of a little ship and also in the cave they were born. She doesn't even walk them between the two. She carries them in her mouth even though they are side by side.

I have a well stocked tank and am figuring they are intimidated by the other fish. Besides a bunch of Gourami, I've also got four Congo Tetras and some Tiger Barbs.

Maybe they will start walking when they get a little bigger. They have their own little area in a corner of the tank.

Has anyone ever had Kribs not walk their fry?

Looks like the Kribs must have heard me talking last night. I got home today and there they were out walkin the kids.

Thanks for looking.
