lampeye tetra behavior question

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with lamp eye tetras. I have 10 in my 150 gallon that i am working on planting. I wanted to finish out my stocking with 6 angels. I have read that they are fin nippers, does anyone have experience with this, or know if they would be any more prone to nipping than any other tetra. They dont bother my black skirts, but their fins dont flow like an angels. I plan on having the tank heavily planted before adding the angels also. Ive been adding plants weekly

I had lamp eye tetras (6) in my community tank and at the time I had 2 angels around 3inches.. Didn't have any problems with the Lamp eyes nipping but my angels ate them....
