Large Bala shark delema

Well a lot of people are posting videos and thread about how they're mixed tanks work well. Balas with Africans and etc.
I have a 6 foot long tank, hence why I was seeing what people thought.
All the videos I see of balas working well with cichlids Its always when there's 3 or more.
I know how big these fish get so I don't want to get more. Figured I'd still see.

I don't just get rid of fish, so a bigger tank is a must it seems.

I respect that!
I have 11 clown loaches(not over 10") that are 10-15 years old in my 180.
I can't let them go or separate them.
I hope you do get a larger tank and you and fish are well!

The shark let me measure him, not 12in, right around 10in.
I have a 55 that shares the same filtered water as my 40b. I Emptied out the 55 and moved the shark and the ghost knife in there. I don't think he likes how little deep the 55gal is compared to the 40b
