2 blue gouramis
2 angels
3 mollies
2 kuhlii loaches
3 5 day old Molly babies in a net nursery hanging in large tank
pH 7.8
Nitrite 0.25 ppm
Nitrate near 0
Ammonia between 0.25 and 0.5 ppm

I want my first babies to survive!
Any advice is appreciated!

I did a 20% water change on 10/21. Just before I started finding babies.

Well I did a 10% pwc because I only have 2 handsaws I didn't know what to do with the babies. I couldn't take anymore water out and keep the babies in their net nursery. I hope they will be ok!!

I do two a week. A 50% on the day I do all the tank cleaning and maintenance and just a 30% about 3 to 4 days later.

You have to keep ammonia and nitrites no higher than .25ppm. Are you still cycling the tank? If so you need to find a way to lower the breeder box as the water level drops so you can do a 50% WC as needed to keep those levels down.

Yes I'm sure it is still cycling. I didn't do it right. I let it run with bacteria starter for a week and put fish in it. The fish went in 9 days ago.

Thank you! I'm going to have to find a way to lower the breeder box to do bigger water changes! I want all of my fish including babies to be healthy and survive!
