I recently changed my ocean rock in my Malawi setup for some more natural looking rocks. I gave them a good rinse before putting them in. Since then I have had large white particles floating everywhere in the tank. I did a water change yesterday but they still persist. I have also been feeding the fish a new frozen omnivore food. Just to be clear these are not micro bubbles or anything small, these are large particles. Thanks

Is the question how to get rid of these particles? If so, I'm a big fan of polyfil which is found at your local craft store. That should help catch some.

Well I would like to know how to get rid of them but I was also curious as to why my tank suddenly looks like a snow globe! Will try filter floss

Often when we make changes we disturb the gunk that has settled. Methinks that is what happened. Especially if you swapped rocks.
