Lets talk about "Overfeeding"

I think, in general terms if there is uneaten food lying around and rotting you are over feeding.

Hi think most fishkeepers are guilty of overfeeding at some point? I tend to do as already been said feed 2/3 times per day but vary the amount,plus feeding slowly can help - feed two small helpings rather than a big helping{twice a day}. Biggest problem is getting the slow feeders enough food as well without overfeeding!! So I feed various foods - flake,granules,pellets wafers and frozen foods.
Simple rule if their is food still in the tank after five minutes you are overfeeding {unless its algea wafers etc}

I know I over feed my shrimp because they can't just eat it all right away.
