my lighting on my 30 gallon tank looks yellow and doesn't make the water look clear. i was thinking about getting an LED lighting thing but i don't know, give me some advice?

What type of lighting do you have now? Is the water actually clear? Not sure if LED's will "make" a tanks water look clearer.

yes, the water is clear, the light just gives it a weird color to it. i don't know what kind of lighting it is.

You could try new bulbs

Can you take a pic of your light? Is it a long tube bulb? Does it have writing on one end?

yeah it's a long tube. i'm pretty sure it has writing on one end.

Can you write what it says? It a pic. Take it to your local fish or pet store and try and match it up or... If you have the money and really wanna then get a new fixture if it will make you feel better.
