Hi everyone, what is the best lighting for a 50 gallon hexagon corner, for a heavily planted? It isn't a full hexagon because it is actually a corner tank just not a bow-front. I heard LED's are the only thing that will reach the bottom, what's your opinion? .I would also like to keep the lighting fairly cheep if possible. One more thing, it can't be longer than 17 inches and it can't be that wide. (the glass space on the hood isn't that big.)
Thanks all! :fish2:

How deep is the tank? Will you be doing any CO2 injection too?

I would highly recommend the kessil a150w Amazon light for an odd shaped tank like that. Excellent penetration and will light up the tank evenly.

Azmodan, the tank is 24 inches deep. I will be making a nice DIY co2 injection hopefully this week.
Gravereaper0, Thanks! I'll definitely check that out!

Oh and also, the light it came with is a 17w florescent (ya I know) with a 17 in. strip.
