Can I support low light plants?
Anubias? Bigger one whatever it's called.

I have a 29g tall with just the hood it came with and a single t8 tube.

Weak, so new bulb? Or new fixture? I had a planted plus on my ten. Is that better?

Could I put the 18" planted plus on the 29?

If it will fit yes.

You could do different bulbs. You could also get strip light leds, or do a DIY light setup. You can find these options if you search the forums.

I know the hygro won't do well, it's extremely temporary while I break down the old tank.

its a 29g? those are 30" long

the finnex will work, I have a Aqueon LED, even with only 2 of 3 bulbs it works good, all 3 would be med light pretty sure, the endcaps are blocked off so you could get the 36" one on ur 30" deep tank to be fully in med light

Nevermind you're right. I thought it was 24 idk why. I think a 30" finnex would be awesome, the other one I have makes the tank look amazing.
