Lights on 24hrs at office

Aloha

I have a freshwater/tropical tank in my office. I turn off the LEDs when I leave but the office lights cannot be turned off. It's bright florescent lighting, no natural sunlight. I'm concerned that they need dark time. Should I put some kind of cover to black it out when I leave the office? Any thoughts or advice?

I'd definitely recommend doing that. Fish definitely need a few hours of darkness each day so they can rest and not be stressed out. Good thinking!
