Live Rock Alternatives?

Iíve been trying to do some research on my own but not much help. Iíll spare everyone the time and tell you i KNOW you shouldnít use actual live rock and such for freshwater aquariums as it will raise hardness/pH and generally not be a good time.

Iíd like to make my tank LOOK like a reef minus the corals, so are there any rocks out there that look like those in a reef tank but wonít do harm to the fish i add?

(or if there is a safe and *possible* way to grow coralline algae in a freshwater tank iíd appreciate tips)

Curious about this as well!

As I continue to prepare my tank for fish, Iím still unsure what I want to add for rocks/decor. Hoping some folks can chime in and provide some tips here.

Live Rock Alternatives?

Fake rocks maybe?

Lava rock as above or maybe light coloured pumice glued together? Never done it but might work.
