I’ve been trying to do some research on my own but not much help. I’ll spare everyone the time and tell you i KNOW you shouldn’t use actual live rock and such for freshwater aquariums as it will raise hardness/pH and generally not be a good time.
I’d like to make my tank LOOK like a reef minus the corals, so are there any rocks out there that look like those in a reef tank but won’t do harm to the fish i add?
(or if there is a safe and *possible* way to grow coralline algae in a freshwater tank i’d appreciate tips)
