Local Tropical Fish Auction

I know every one of these is probably different, but i have never been to one. I am going to the greater akron aquarium society fish auction on march 3rd in ohio. What types of fish normally show up at these? Is it going to be like walking into a pet store or will there be fun/rare fish there? In general, do you get good stuff at these types of auctions? What can i expect?

If you are looking for cardinal tetras, (i think it was you who wanted them, I am following your other thread) then you should be able to get those at any fish store. I don't know how they work, I've never been, but you will definitely find rare fish there

Yeah i know. I would rather get frm a local breeder if possible, but also just curious what kinds of fish will be available at aauction like this.
