Lost 2 cories

So I was missing 1 panda and 1 peppered. Looked for them all day. I was a day over my water change, so took out 15 g, removed large decorations, checked them nothing. My girlfriend said what's that sticking out the bottom of power head? Sure enough it got both of them. Guess I need a filter for it or some sort of filter tube. This sucks
