Tank age? Type of fish? What is your tap water's pH?

6.8 isn't terribly low so unless it's a shift, that isn't anything to be alarmed about. If, OTOH, you're having trouble maintaining pH, you need to check GH and kh.

What do I need to do? Tested 6.8

Hello nam...

I would do large, frequent water changes and not worry about it. Most aquarium fish will adapt to most of our public water supplies, they have for decades. I wouldn't try to make any changes. That usually doesn't turn out well for the fish.

Actually, acidic water is very good for aquatic plants. You may want to get a nice variety and see how they do.
