Low PH IN TAP WATER

Hi Guys, I'm using strip water testers, and I've checked my tap water and my tank. The PH IS BELOW the safe level on the strip. How can I raise it. Would a limestone rock do it?

First off.. Test strips are notoriously inaccurate, especially with ph, can you get a liquid test get? Leave a glass of tap out for 24 hrs to let it gas off, than test it.
