Magnum 350 Pro Hookup Question - Aquarium Advice

Anyone out there got a magnum 350 pro? I just set mine up. Questions:
1) supposed to hook the 1/2" tube to the bio wheel, but couldn't get it onto the barbed connector. So I used the 5/8. ?????
2) the bio wheels are spinning pretty fast, anyone know how fast they're supposed to go? I can't even see the little notches in the window, it's just a blur.

I'll try the marineland site, too, just thought maybe someone could help. Thanks!

The bio wheel will slowdown once it has accumlated some crud on it.. just let it go its course. I dont konw what to tell you for #1

You might be able to dip the tube down in some hot (then if that doesn't work) boiling water to get it to streach over the barb.

If you end up boiling the tube make sure to rince it off with declorinated room temp water (some plastics release chemicals when heated to boiling temperatures) just to be on the safe side mmkay
