Male Betta and dwarf gourami!

So I had to get rid of my 5 gallon with my Betta Charles. But since he was my first fish I took a bit of a gamble and decided to add him to my 36 gallon tropical community. He is a very calm tempered Betta, so I was more worried about my two adult dwarf gourami.

To my amazement they are swimming together around the tank. Just thought it was pretty incredible and wanted to share anyone else have bettas with unlikely tankmates?
