Male German Blue Ram RIP! - Aquarium Advice

I've recognised I couldn't find my male German Blue Ram. I thought maybe he just died since they are supposed to be so weak.

However, he got stuck in the L piece of the powerhead, which I use for my [acronym:f7f8919e25="Carbon dioxide"]CO2[/acronym:f7f8919e25] power-reactor - looked pretty nasty

. I'm not sure if he got sucked in, but sure he wasn't able to maneuver back out! For all those people with Hagen powerheads be careful, the L pieces can kill your fish! I've left it off now...

It's just crazy that you try everything to keep your fish healthy and than happens sth. like that

RIP "German Fish"... __________________ Some time ago in Germany: 2x 15gal tank, 45gal heavily planted Now: 70gal FW, 130W CF, driftwood, black gravel/laterite/flourish tabs/pool filter sand, pressurised CO2, power reactor, 200W = 250W heater, Fluval 304, Eheim prefilter; pH 7, kH 5, gH 9, CO2 ~20mg/l Plants: Cryptocoryne beckettii, wendtii "red", Giant Vals, Nymphaea lotus "zenkeri", Anubias nana "petite", Echinodorus "ozelot", Dwarf Sag, Hygrophila polysperma, Rotala rotundifolia, Limnophila sessiliflora Fishes: 2 Mikrogeophagus ramirezi, Endlers, 4 Otocinclus vittatus, 1pair Pelvicachromis pulcher, 5 Corydoras panda
