Marino moss ball

Hello. My moss ball was in a tank with pond snails and they reproduced and POOPED all over it so I was wondering how I can clean it I have three bowls of clean water (has fish conditioner) if I need to i will pour out the water and get fresh. I just REALLY NEED IT! All my pond snails died off (all had A HUGE appetite) and this moss ball is my favorite!! Please help me!!

You should be able to just rinse it off. You can squeeze the moss ball out a few times to dislodge any dirt.
