Mealworms?

Long with keeping fish I keep geckos ( prob not spelled right ) I feed the geckos mealworms. Could I feed my fish live mealworms too ?

My fish love mealworms, I feed them the large meal worms but they have smaller ones too. I have C/A S/A cichlids and Leporinus. Some fish might not be able to handle mealworms as well. What kind of fish do you plan on feeding?

An angel a gourmai guppys plays mollies and swords, also some black skirt teteras

Maybe some of the very small meal worms but be careful because of the hard shell , im not sure how those fish will handle it.

Could I cut them in half? We get the smaller sized ones anyway

I imagine you could cut them to about the size of the fish's mouth , my fish are larger and they are able to inhale the worms.

Would I have to clean them before I feed?

No , they are fine like they are. I feed my fish all kinds of worms, bugs, crawfish, shrimp, veggies, ect. they like a variety.
