Melanistic or different species

Hello! I purchased 2 baby eclipse or sun catfishes last week and was curious if I got a different species or a new morph of the fish but I do believe itís still the same species just because I can barely see the spot behind the gills on him, maybe itís because heís so young but the other I got is the same size but an obvious sun cat and other looks melanistic. Can any anyone shed some light maybe?
