mercury test

I have a tank of two goldfish and one aquatic frog. I have well water and Live near a Cement factory that puts out mercury. Before I go and get store bought water I was wondering if there is a test strip that would test mercury. Thanks in advance.

If not, you could always purify your water just in case

I've not seen mercury test kits in any of my catalogs. My guess is you would need to send a sample of your water to a local testing facility. Seems like someone on well water would have their water tested annually anyways for lead, mercury, but especially nitrates and phosphate from farming run-off.

Thanks for checking your catalogs. I haven't tested the well because we just moved out of city limits. I was wondering if it was testable in all the strips they have in the store. I guess it will be off to a testing place. If someone would find something to test it I am still interested- but it does look like I am out of luck. Thanks again
