Thought I'd update here. A few days after the thread I found my neon during my pwc. He was hiding under one of the decorations. He must have been in there since my last pwc last week and been hiding even when I completely upended the decoration as well! So he's fine and healthy and glad to be back with the other neons. My cherry barb however is still missing and I'm pretty sure it's dead at this point. I just wish I knew what happened. I think it's possible he could have been bullied because I see my gold barbs chasing some of the other fish sometimes but I never thought it was that bad.
