Missing Kuhli!

So, left for last week to come back to my single kuhli missing! So when I cleaned the tank I looking for him... nothing. He does not normally dig, but I did stir up the gravel. Still nothing. The only place It could go is inside my moss ball, since my convicts ate a hole in it. but is really upsetting not knowing were he ( she) is.

Check the filter. I found one of mine in my canister, jammed behind the filter pad.

Definitely could be inside the moss ball, inside the filter, or if you have an undergravel filter it could be down in that.

I have four in my 30-gal tank, and I count it good if I can see two of them pop out during feeding time. They spend most of their time hiding in the giant driftwood stump.

I do a headcount every other day at feeding time on my 7 kuhlis. They definately know how to hide so if one misses rollcall twice in a row i go looking.
