I started with 8 neons and 8 celestial pearl danios in with my betta, Denim. ..I have 6 neons and 2 danios left. Most of the time, Denny swims right by the school and does nothing but last week, I noticed that in the early morning he was nipping at the stranglers and chased them out of the grass then he would wait in a corner of the tank and make a rush at them. I think they are all too big for him now but I'm waiting on my grasses to grow bigger before replacing the neons and danios so they have more hides. If he keeps snacking on them after that, my next plan is to just go with Emperor Neons.
