Mixing fish

I have an Oscar.... Any advice on what would be the best type of lil fish to be in the same tank?

That depends...is the "lil' fish" supposed to be a snack? Haha...I'm not sure any lil guys do well with oscars!

+1 An oscar needs a lot of space.

Gonna be a 5ft tank. Got him in a 3ft while his big tank is being delivered and set up

You'll have to pick fish that the oscar can't eat. Other cichlids would be a good choice.

Agreed. Don't do anything small... They're just as much lunch as feeder fish.

Some types of aggresive cichlids like texas cichlid. Would work

Maybe another Oscar of a similar size would be good for the loner, it might be happier with another of it's own kind.
