Molly's and Cihlid question...

Well I'm having a problem with my male sailfin black molly and was about to give it to a friend with a 40g well established tank. My question is - he has one cichlid in his and I was wondering if that would be a problem for him. Will they get along?

That depends on the type of cichlid. Check with your friend and find out what kind. There are plenty that will do well in a community aquarium.

If it is an african cichlid, no they will not work together. If it is a dwarf cichlid then they probably will get along. As mentioned it depends on the cichlid.
