Emerald copies are from a different genus than most other cories. They were sold to you correctly (brochis splendens).

Yeah thats what i thought, i still haven't had any luck finding what these babies will look like. I guess only time will tell at about 3 months they should be mature.
 
Check Planet Catfish. They have the ways to ID the species. Brochis get bigger and I really doubt they'd cross.

If they were sold as Green they are usually aeneus. EMERALD green are usually Brochis

AFAIK the lack of melanin is recessive , so babies will have color.
