Moss wall

Is it possible to make a wall of moss in your tank how would u start it ... Would attaching some kind of plastic mesh to back of tank inside help?

I just started a moss wall in my 5 gallon. I took a couple of pieces of plastic canvas you get from a craft store and sewed the edges together with fishing line. I then sandwiched the moss between them. I buried the bottom of the mesh in the substrate and added suction cups to each corner to hold it against the back wall. The moss is just starting to grow through the mesh. You could also just use one sheet of mesh and sew the moss on it in rows with fishing line.

I just need to buy some moss in gonna get it off someone my mom works with ... Should I quarantine the moss first ... Can it carry disease
