I'm keen to witness the fry being born and mummys massive ready to drop... And behaviour characteristics to keep an eye out for ??

Good luck trying to catch the fry being born.

Look for the mother to start hiding in dark corners.

Is it just the mum that will eat the fry or will it be a free for all in the tank ?

Most fish will eat guppy fry. The fry will instinctively hide in plants and other cover.

I'm literally sat next to the tank waiting!!! :O so annoying!! Grrrrrr

It may sound gross but when I had my guppies they would always seem to..how do I put this nicely... go to the bathroom right before dropping. :)

I've heard that from a few other people also, that is why I mentioned it. It did not happen with one of my females though when I actually did see her drop fry.
