My 6-inch Elephant nose jumped out of the tank! R.I.P :(

I woke up and it was on the carpet.


I only had him for 3 months



Is this normal behaviour for Elephant nose?
Are they jumpers?

The same thing happened to my friends one a while ago, it was probably about 8 inches too They definetly are jumpers but I have no idea why...
