My Betta bit me!

I was cleaning his tank and he flaring at my fingertip. I playfully wiggled it at him... And he bit me! He latched his mouth on and thrashed a bit. I got really scared, it was so unexpected. I pulled my finger out Godspeed, and I'm afraid I might have hurt his teeth...

Yes bettas do that. It's not like bettas have big, sensitive, important teeth. We babyfeed bettas with flakes and easy to eat food. He'll be just fine. If he shows signs of trauma to his mouth, than you should be worried. Otherwise, don't worry too much.

That sounds crazy I've never been bitten by a betta, hopefully he doesn't develop an affinity for human flesh ; )
