My bluegill....video

Hello,

Here is a short string of clips of my bluegill and a few mosquitofish. He has gotten very acustomed to life in the tank and is even eating flake food already! (once it sinks) Please excuse the lack of a backdrop as I haven't been able to get ahold of just plain blue or black locally. Also there are more plants and driftwood on the way. The last little clip is my yeast CO2 system in action. It works flawlessly.

I only got to watch a small part of it. It popped up that the file was corrupt. But what I seen was cool. Those mosquito fish look a bit worried. lol

I would love to make a "local" aquarium - Catch a few bluegill, and perch; pull out some of the cooler looking plants, put it all in the aquarium and WHAMMO! just like the local fishing hole.

Have you had bluegills in an aquarium before? I have heard they can be territorial.

Great tank!

I had the same problem as Fluff - It stopped at about 40seconds.

Probably not too many takers yet because it's a big download, and not everyone has broadband. I got the same error messsage after a while too.

Very nice camerawork. I'd be interested in what type of camera and pan head you use. That's a beautiful fish - any idea how big it will get? Those swords look really healthy, so your CO2 system must be working well.

Right now he's about 4.5 to 5 inches. the tank is a 55gal. Today he was making nests with his tail. Tried to get that on camera but batteries were charging. I need to fid him a female to breed with. Keep trying to watch it. I don't know what the problem is, maybe just a glitch.
*EDIT hmmm it gave me a codec error too for the first time since putting it up. strange that it does it after it's played part of it.
