Hi guys

I have a 60 litres tank with 7 neon tetras and 3 corydoras sterbai. Just today I added 6 tiny danios. I just noticed that my tetras are now only 6. I tend to count them every day. I have searched the bottom and the filter, there is no sign of it. I have also searched the plants in case there is a dead body trapped in there, no sign. This is driving me mad! I cannot think any of the other tank mates eating it?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Do you have any snails in the tank? I went on vacation for three weeks and left my sister in charge of my tank. I lost a total of 3 neon tetras, I have high assumptions my snails/shrimps finished it.

Yes I have recently bought one of those snails...So I assumed it died overnight and snail ate it by the time I discovered it was nothing left?

Cories will scavenge dead fish too. For that matter, most fish will. Your other neons likely had a few bites as well.
