My new 40 gal breeder

I finally have it up and running. Would like to know what you think about it.

Thanks. They are pond rocks. I got them from a local landscaping store for $5 dollars.

You could add more like another school of 6 and add another Emperor Tetra. I like Cardinals and Rummy Nose Tetra.

I think you could do much more than that, like 8-9 tetras in each school, 12-13 if it is a small tetra like a neon or cardinal.

Is there a plant i can put on the rock like moss or something?

I think Java Moss would look quite nice around those rocks.

Yeah I agree maybe you could get some Marimo Moss Balls too. I have one and I love it.

Looks very nice, but a nice black backround would make the fish's colour really pop against the white sand

I agree a black back ground would make it look great. Plus it would help keep the sunlight out that you will have behind the tank there. It will also hide power cords and such.
