my opaline gourami maken bubbles

Hi al I have a male opaline gourami and its maken bubbles.it doesnt have a female and I have read it means its happy but would anyone recommend adden a female or does it really matter any help would be nice thanks

Personally I'd just let him make his little bubble nests and not add a female.
