ok so i was wondering why my plants kept looking torn up and i just got out of the shower and walked out and saw him chomping my cryp-balanesa plants.........

do all turtles eat plants or am i under feeding them????

Most turtles do eat some kind of plant material.. but if you provide them with an alternate source of vegetable matter it probably won't eat your tank plants..
Good luck, I love turtles. ;>

What type of turtle? Most are either herbivores or omnivores, so he's probably supplementing it with his plants!

I just got a red eared slider today, out of the blue, from a friend that can't care for it anymore. So I've just begun my research, but so far what I've read is that they will eat your plants and that plants should be provided for them.
