Tested the tap that I let sit out all night and got ammonia that was 1-2 ppm nitrite that was at 0 ppm and nitrate was at 0 ppm

I've been having a similar problem. Been API testing and water changing regularly. Ammonia stays at 1-2 ppm and nitrates and nitrites are zeroed out.

Actually I just got home from being gone for 4 days and I was worried so I just tested and ammonia was at 0! I was so happy hope you get yours down too!

Thank you all so much! Rest of the levels were nitrite - 0 nitrate - 10 and ph is high like always but it was 8.0
