Mystery plant

Well I didn't get an answer on my thread so I'll just attract some more attention

I got a $6 bunch of this pretty plant but the LFS had no idea what it was. Hoping to identify and if possible tell me some stuff about its requirements.

That's got some nice purple in it. But yea I know nothing with plants. I sure can grow algae though. LOL

Sorry I can't help. I just looked on plant finder at aquatic plant central and found some that look close but nothing definite. Hard to tell from the photos. Have you tried looking there? Hope somebody can help you.

Limnophila Hippuroides. Its a fantastic plant... ive tried it 3 times in my tanks and its died every time.

+1 It looks like Limno. This plant is better suited for tanks with medium to higher lighting, and its colors are best shown with high light, CO2 injection, and good ferts.

If it starts drooping it will go to the 10g. I have all that in that tank.
