Name that blob...
I was wondering about this blob that appeared overnight. Just a piece of moldy food or something else? (RCS for scale)

It looks more gelatinous than that would IMHO. I suspect it is just some mold, but wondered if it might be a spixi egg or something like that....

kinda looks like a bit of fungus to me. i had some form on my driftwood and it went away after a little while.
