Hey thanks for the advice. I don't have any further questions at this time. Thanks Nate

These were my readings from 10-20-10,
pH 6.6
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 5.0 ppm

These are my readings before my water change today,
pH 7.6
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 10 ppm

And after the water change,
pH 7.6
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 5.0 ppm

So my pH jumped up 1.0 and my Nitrates went up 5.0 ppm to 10 ppm in 5 days but after the water change went back to 5.0 ppm and my pH stayed at 7.6 were it was at before the water change.

So what levels are ok for the nitrates? Is less than 40 ppm acceptable in a 14 gallon tank?

Thanks Nate

:( I lost an assasin snail in my water change last week. Found it in my bucket but I new it was missing in the tank:(
