Natural ways to raise tank pH?

my pH is very low and the fish don't like it, especially the shrimp. It never used to be low so I assume its the new rocks I put in the tank. Any suggestions on natural ways to raise it slowly?

Put a bag of crushed coral in your filter. This will act as a buffer to help keep it up.

Thanks I'll give that a try, does it matter how much or how little? e.g. the more I put in the higher it will go?
