need a fish that LOVES sand ??? any ideas

many loaches do as well. My horseface loaches spend most of the day sitting in/under the sand.

It is harder to find fish that "don't" like sand - few would object to it. Any reason you need them to love it?

it would be nice to have fish in their natural habitat
sifting through the sand and burying in the sand !!

Redtail sharks like to bury in sand. That is what I have read anyways. We have one Redtail and he has gravel substrate in his tank.

Loaches of all kinds love sand, as do most any bottom feeder/cat type. Many African cichlids like sand to move it around, particularly the shelldwellers.

I dont think A Takifugu Puffer would be right for your setup but, They love sand. They sift through it and lay under alot. its kinda funny when they come out of the sand to eat they still have it stuck all over them.
