So Im planning on haveing a pair of Firemouths chiclids in a 40 gallon breeder and I want to get a fish I can put in the tank if the Breeding guts out of contole that will eat the fry and take out and put in a different tank when I want more fry again. Something that can go into a 29 gallon or even can go in my 75 gallon when needed. something some what neat, and doesnt have to be a super commen fish I can get basicly any fish I want from my LFS.
Will plecos eat the eggs? because I would love to have a Golden Nugget or Grand Clown Pleco but not sure if the Firemouths will allow them to get to the eggs or not I know I cant have them with my GBR because they will eat their eggs but they are much less aggressive.
So Plecos are good, Catfish are good, really anything that will get the job done will be good.
