I am getting my plants and driftwood for my new 20 gallon tank and I need to get the snails and the eggs off of them. I don't think any of the fish I will have in the tank will eat them so I don't really want them in the tank.

You can also bait for snails, DIY trap, or get something like leaf lettuce, run it under hot water to soften, put in tank at night and then remove first thing in moring with snails attached. A yo-yo loach might get too big for that size tank but there is a dwarf loach.

Also assassin snails do a good job look cool and will eat any snails you may have and don't breed as easily as most although seeing the little baby assassin snails roaming the tank is a site to see just trying to find them is fun.
