Need help with my swordtail
My swordtail blocks off my female guppies. He blocks them by moving forward and backwards, like a guard. He holds the guppy back, he is also attacking my otto. Any ideas why?

Welcome to Aquarium Advice, feeder_guppy!
Your swordtail needs female swordtails, basically. He is undoubtedly larger than the male guppies and since all male livebearers have pretty much one thing on their mind, this situation won't get better with time, and he does not mind that the females are not swords. The oto is just in the wrong place at the wrong time with a frustrated sword. You can remove that fish and stick with one type of livebearer, or try about 3 female swords. There may be interbreeding, as I have heard of this, but I'm not certain. Good luck!
